Happy Holidays!

December 30, 2010

Finally posting a “first”; the first holiday in out new house and state! I put up the tree almost as soon as we moved in so that it would feel like Christmas. Not that Fiona noticed, it was just something else for her to play with. She did help hang the ornaments (and by hang I mean she put Christmas rubber ducks in the tree, it was very festive).

We went to her Grandparents house for Christmas eve. They take decorating for the holidays to a whole new level.

Christmas morning we opened presents, Fiona mostly watched. She got a fancy play kitchen, and she loved playing with all the things that went with it.

For Christmas dinner we headed back to the Grandparents house for a traditional English dinner complete with Yorkshire puddings. Her Nana has a ton of stuffed Christmas toys that sings. Fiona loved them all, but her favorite was the snowmen that sang Jingle Bells. She happily shouted “Hey!” along with them.

Happy Holidays everyone!
